Semi permanent make-up, also known as micropigmenation, is a hugely popular aesthetic treatment aimed at modifying, correcting, beautifying and rebalancing certain facial or body features in a semi-permanent manner. Treatment areas include eyes, eyebrows, lips, beautyspot, areola and scalp.

Permanent make-up follows the same underlying principles as tattooing, in which pigment, in the form of natural iron oxide is applied between the epidermis and the dermal layer of the skin. The medically regulated colour lasts anywhere from 1-3 years depending on several factorsincluding skin type, sun exposure and lifestyle and the individual’s skin regeneration. The pigmentation can be touched up to refresh the design, reshaped, replaced with different colours or left to fade.

To gain the full effect you will require 2 treatments. Following an initial procedure on a new area it will take around 6 to 10 weeks for the true colour to emerge. At that point and to achieve thebest and longest lasting result it is vital to have second treatment. A treatment is not considered complete until you've had your second treatment. The full treatment price for the 2 sessions is paid at the first treatment session.
